Through Sunday worship, we receive grace and begin a new week on Monday. However, we often forget the grace we have received, due to the teacher’s lessons or the frustration of our superiors. Many people think that their thoughts and their surroundings are everything. However, we must first change our mind which is deeply affected and then go further to heal our spiritual state. Our life is in God’s hands and his design. Knowing this truth, we must make resolutions of faith.
Numbers 14:1-10
1 All the congregation lifted up their voices and shouted, and the people wept during the night. 2 And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron, and all the congregation said unto them, Would that we had died in the land of Egypt, or that we had died in this wilderness! Read more
1. We must restore ourselves
It is not by chance that we heard the Gospel and not by pure luck that we became children of God. In every age, God has chosen a few and called them as disciples. We are the representatives of the Gospel as well as the spiritual disciples who represent our family, region and nation. God called His children with the Blood Covenant (Exodus 3:18) and sent them into the field. We must restore the blessing of God’s children and look to God’s plan and direction. This is when we experience power and receive healing.
2. Resolving Faith Will Bring Eternal Answers
The Israelites who were ordered by God to go to the land of Canaan sent spies there. Most of the spies, however, uttered words of unbelief that they would not be able to enter the land of Canaan. Discouraged, the Israelites tried to kill Moses and return to Egypt, not believing in the power of God. At that very moment, Joshua and Caleb made the resolve of faith and spoke words of faith, and through these, the times in which they lived changed and all the Israelites were able to survive.
3. They conquered Canaan with a resolve from Moses
Seeing the unbelief of the Israelites and Joshua’s resolve of faith, Moses made the resolve of faith. It seemed impossible in the eyes of the world, and yet Moses proceeded to the land of Canaan with faith to believe in the power and to God’s plan. The faith of Moses, Joshua and Caleb determined the destiny of a nation. The faith, confession and resolve of God’s children determine their family and family lineage; the faith of believers determines the fate of their church, the faith of leaders determines the fate of the future generation.
