During your Christian life, there are difficult times. You may encounter difficulties due to people or face troubles related to work in the church. This is why some people leave it, others are tested or even quarrel among themselves. We must properly open our spiritual eyes. If we know Satan’s strategy, we have no choice but to triumph. Why do these difficulties arise, and how can we overcome them, and thus receive correct answers?
Acts 12:20-25
20 Herod was hostile towards the Tyrians and the Sidonians. 1. God’s reason
Although we face difficulties, God has the greatest reason. Joseph’s brothers attempted to kill Joseph and sell him into slavery. David’s father-in-law, Saul, attempted to kill David. Even though they seemed to be going through trials, God had the reason to destroy the greatest force of darkness. The Elders of the faith suffered greatly for missions that would affect future descendants. The reason members of the early Church were wrongly accused of heresy and went through difficult times was so that the truth would be witnessed.
2. God’s plan
If we are in this situation, what should we do with bad people and those who persecute us? There is God’s plan. Bringing from death to life people possessed by demons, returning good for evil to our enemies, not avenging an unjust thing done to us, these attitudes are honorable towards God. King Ahab or King Herod persecuted the holy posterity until the end of their lives deserving a miserable death. No matter how powerful the nation, Egypt, Babylon, Assyria or Rome, all those who blocked the elect were pitifully destroyed. Noah’s contemporaries disobeyed God and those of Sodom and Gomorrah were completely destroyed.
3. God’s blessing
If we take even five minutes to dedicate ourselves to God and kneel before Him, the answers will manifest. Like the response patterns presented in the Bible, God has perfectly prepared responses during evangelism for His children who look to Him, and who focus on His covenant. This is why we must prepare ourselves to receive fulfillment by faith.
