Roosevelt Jean Noel: An artist with undeniable talent

a famous gospel singer, author- and producer originally from the bustling city of Port-au-Prince in Haiti, comes from a family fervent. The esteemed scion of Pastor Raul and Mrs. Raul Jean Noel, affectionately known as Ti Roos, finds himself among a remarkable brood of nine siblings, each blessed with an equal measure of musical prowess. From the age of nine, Roosevelt’s vocal prowess blossomed, captivating audiences with his soulful melodies. However, his influence goes far beyond his undeniable talents, because his magnetic personality radiates humor, intelligence and great generosity.

He finds immense joy in laughter and amusing anecdotes, while he possesses a remarkable talent for imitating the mannerisms and characteristics of others.

Roosevelt embarked on a profound journey of self-discovery when he realized that his divine purpose lay in the realm of music. He devoted himself wholeheartedly to perfecting his craft, seeking knowledge and expertise by enrolling in music school and participating in numerous educational music seminars.

As a versatile artist, he successfully masters not only singing, but also several musical instruments. During his career, he has collaborated with numerous musical ensembles and collectives, to name just a few: Bethesda, Alabanza, Jehud and Mahanaim.

Roosevelt’s immense talent in the field of gospel was widely recognized not only in Haiti but throughout the Caribbean, thanks to his debut album J’ai Retrouve. However, an unforeseen tragedy strikes his life, completely changing the trajectory of his musical journey. In the dark month of February 2004, Roosevelt said goodbye to his beloved mother, a heartbreaking incident that would forever redefine his artistic journey.

He found himself in a state of perplexity and despair because of this particular circumstance, which ultimately led to the exhaustion of his religious beliefs. Therefore, he made a profound decision to move from gospel to a more worldly genre of music. During this transition, Roosevelt experienced a completes and has become a valued member of both Krezi Mizik and Harmonik. His journey has involved numerous collaborations and involvement in various albums and projects alongside the crème de la crème of the Haitian music industry.

He also had the chance to embark on a global trip, sharing the stage with renowned musicians and bands.

Despite numerous cases of deception, unpleasant experiences and disappointments, he never found joy and peace in his heart. He eventually realized that these difficulties were not part of God’s intended path for his life. He discovered that his true purpose was to honor and exalt the name of the Lord.

In 2009, Roosevelt returned to the Kingdom and immersed himself in ministry. Despite various obstacles, he persisted in bringing joy and keeping his followers updated by sharing his songs on social media platforms like Facebook and YouTube.

His current project, the album Back Home, is conceived in with his trusted comrades Charlson Duverne, Wesly Derosier and Sylvio Jean Louis.

His goal is to spread the Gospel through song and guide people to find comfort in Christ.
