In this first TCB, we are delighted to present the cover video “Turn Your Eyes” by Walker County. The duo chose to cover the song by Natalie Grant in honor of the Easter holidays.
The duo share the clip: “We were lucky enough to see Natalie Grant performing his version of “Turn Your Eyes” at our church The Belonging Co here in Nashville! It was so beautiful. You could really feel God’s presence! So for Easter, we wanted to share our rendition of this incredible song!”
From the Judds to the Dixie Chicks and the Carter Family themselves, country music history is steeped in and replete with duos, groups and family bands. Warner Music Nashville sister duo Walker County adds to that “family tradition” with soaring harmonies and solid musicianship. Born and raised in rural Sulphur Springs, Indiana, sisters Ivy Dene (lead vocals) and Sophie Dawn (percussion and harmony) have been performing for almost as long as they can remember.
