Finding spiritual growth in the ups and downs of youth.
Being young is a time of life filled with energy, enthusiasm and potential. It’s a time when we explore the world, discover our passions and build our future. However, it is important to realize that this youth is valuable and can be put to positive use.
Being a young person who pleases God means that we choose to live according to His principles and teachings. This means that we seek to be kind, loving and honest in everything we do. It involves making wise and moral decisions, choosing friends who encourage us to grow spiritually, and demonstrating integrity in all our actions.
The text of Deuteronomy 31:6 reminds us that God is always with us, even when we go through difficult times. His presence and support give us the strength and courage to face life’s challenges. When we choose to follow God, we are never alone. He is there to protect us, guide us, and pick us up when we fall.
Being a young person who pleases God does not mean being perfect, because we all make mistakes. However, it does mean that we strive to be better people every day. This means that we acknowledge our faults, ask for forgiveness when we hurt others, and seek to grow spiritually.
As we navigate through the ups and downs of youth, let’s remember that God is there for us. He encourages us to be strong and courageous. He reminds us that we are loved and precious in His eyes.
So, youth, strengthen yourselves and have courage! Choose to live a life that pleases God and allow Him to guide you on the path to success and happiness. Remember that you are never alone, for God walks with you every step of your journey.
