Recording artist, singer-songwriter and morning radio host Perry LaHaie, along with his radio show partner Shawna Beyer of Perry and Shawna Mornings were honored to serve as emcees at the World Mission Pathway to the Unreached Gathering held Thursday, November 4, 2021, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The event shined a spotlight on two of the largest refugee crises in the world today: the Muslim Rohingya and the Muslim Afghans. One of the ways World Mission is working to bring the gospel to unreached people groups is by sharing The Treasure Audio Bible. Each of these solar-powered audio Bibles is estimated to reach approximately 100 people with the gospel for the first time. World Mission is sharing these solar-powered audio Bibles from West Africa to the Far East where nine out of ten people have yet to hear the gospel in the language of their hearts. This vast region of the world includes a majority of the world’s Muslim, Hindu and Buddhist populations. “It’s estimated that each Treasure Solar Audio Bible reaches about 100 people who have never heard the gospel,” says LaHaie. “It excites me to think that a year from now, there will probably be hundreds, probably thousands of Rohingya Muslims and Afghans in the family of God because of the November 4th rally that Shawna and I were supposed to be a part of. It just gives me great joy!” “There are people—moms and dads, kids, grandmas and grandpas—who are going through things that we can’t even imagine without Jesus,” Beyer adds. “Global Missions reaches them. To be a part of that is exactly where I want to be!” In addition to his hosting duties, LaHaie also performed songs from his latest album, Him, including “Amazing Grace (Send Me)” and “God Is Working His Purpose Out,” while Paul Eshleman, founder of The JESUS Film Project and Vice President of Coverage for CRU International (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ International), served as the event’s keynote speaker. As a recording artist with BordersUnited Statesan international community of people dedicated to inviting Muslims around the world to follow Jesus, LaHaie is grateful for the impact his ministry is having on the world. “With the incredible team and music God has given me, I was able to reach more people in 2020 than ever before,” says LaHaie. “McCain & Co. PR opened doors for radio, television, and online magazine interviews. Producer Joshua Frerichs and promoter Kevin Winebarger helped introduce my music to thousands of people who had never heard it before. When God decides to grow something, He does it for His great purposes and glory among the nations!” “From his music to his work with FrontiersUSA to his career in radio, Perry LaHaie’s passion for sharing the gospel and God’s incredible grace is evident in everything he does,” says John Farrell of Inspiration.org. “His most recent album, Him, captures that perfectly.” » “I am passionate about Jesus because He found me at my worst, embraced me, and loved me unconditionally,” says LaHaie. “What a privilege to be able to share the Gospel with people around the world through radio, music, and incredible media platforms.” LaHaie and his music have been covered by such influential outlets as Cornerstone TV’s flagship show, Hope Today; CCM Magazine; NRB Network’s popular television show, Babbie’s House; the nationally syndicated coast-to-coast radio show, Bill Martinez Live! (300+ U.S. markets); Inspiration.org; CRU (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ radio), popular daytime television show Friends & Neighbors; Atlan
