New Life Worship Releases “Our God Is Over All” From Upcoming Debut Album

New Life Worship announces new song, “Our God is above all“, was released today alongside a live video. As the first single from their upcoming album, Over It All, two additional songs will be available before the album’s release in April.

“Our God Is Over All” was written and directed by Jon Egan. Writing the song in just 45 minutes, he shares, “I was feeling the itch to write something that I just wanted to say to God. While we have so much to rejoice over, there’s also a lot to mourn in the world. I wasn’t too concerned with writing a great song. My hope was to write something real and raw, something that said what I felt needed to be said.”

“I’m not sure I thought of anyone other than my own need to sing,” Egan continues. “I thought about how worship is this amazing gift, especially in these times. While I will always love worship first and foremost because it glorifies Jesus, I also love how worship carries us through, how it stands in the face of total darkness and sings a reality that eclipses it, how it lifts our souls to remember what is real.”
