Muscadin André, The Fine Line Between Being a “Chosen Animator” and a “Professional Facilitator”

Published on

What difference do you establish between a “Christian” facilitator and one who is not?

The difference I make is the following: The concepts “Chosen Animator”, “Called Animator”, are related to Spirituality. While the idea of “Professional Facilitator” refers to remuneration. If you are not called, you cannot claim to be a spiritual leader. However, you can really serve God while being a professional animator. But your mission, then, is not really evangelization.

Isn’t it this mentality of “Professional Animator” that we know the phenomenon of demanding compensation?

Yes. If a presenter works in the major press, it is normal for him to be paid. But for those who say they are “Called”, automatically decide to specialize in evangelical music, they must understand that they are evolving in the field of God, in the Ministry and that their mission is to Serve. “Receive freely, give freely.” Of course, you have to look for strategies to live, to find ways to organize yourself. But you have to know how to put things into perspective.

What are Muscadin André’s plans in the short, medium and long term?

I always had the project, even when I was in “La Voix de l’Evangile”, to set up a radio station. A leader is easily led by a leader who surpasses him. But it is difficult for a leader who cannot overtake him to lead him. Which explains that in terms of radio, I had problems with the stations where I had played. I didn’t have enough latitude… Hence the birth of this radio “Inspiration FM”. But “Inspiration” is not my last project. I work on the “Ministry Shalom Haiti” of which the radio will only be an offshoot. Just like “Shalom Restaurant” which offers a good standard at a lower cost, is a branch of Shalom Ministry. It is one of our strategies for survival. Transforming everything I do today into a “Ministry” is the project. For 4 or 5 years, I had had the revelation to lead prayer fasts, for example. I didn’t understand this call. Why me ? I felt I lacked maturity. God always said to me: “Muscadin!” Muscadin! I will make you into someone extraordinary, doing extraordinary things. » Once, I was in the USA to obtain equipment for Radio, and while I was visiting a church, the Holy Spirit took hold of the preacher. He had prayed for me and pronounced the following prophecy over me: “This year I declare that your life is a life of wonder. I declare that you will be a scandal of miracles in Haiti.” That’s why I’m not afraid of what people might say about me. I believe that the God who provides, Himself provides security for everything He entrusts to our management. God gives us the ability and power to make everyone accept the wonder He is working through us, as well as the truth of Shalom. The project is therefore Shalom. Some say they have never seen such a thing, referring to our fasts. In three times we blocked Adelphos College. To the point that the 4th fast had to be scheduled for the “Palace of Art”.

As you know, and it’s unfortunate, problems will inevitably fall on you from everywhere. They come to me, for example, from certain people who are afraid of this phenomenon and try to slow it down because they find me too influential. Their argument is that I am not a Pastor and therefore have no authority to create events of this magnitude. But the path that God traces, no one can obstruct it. For 4 to 5 years I have been talking about a Tabernacle for 15 to 25 thousand people. But this project, in itself, will only be the result of Shalom. Because it is Shalom who will be the door through which we will pass to make this dream come true. Radio, God made it. The Ministry, I asked for it, God gave it to me. Inside the Ministry there will be, in addition to prayer fasts, a concept that I have developed which is SOS Prayers. It will be a telephone network where 5 to 10 volunteers will be on the line bombarding people with prayer. There will be information in this Ministry, there will also be broadcasts. I anticipate at least fifty where Jubau, moreover, can prepare to be invited. I enjoy a lot of credit in the press field and it turns out that several radio stations are currently calling me to say: “Muscadin André, se ou mwen vle”. We want a show with you. You see, I don’t want to be a one-man show. I want to go to school. I want to train animators who will go everywhere in Port-au-Prince and in the provinces to put on these shows. This is one of my projects. Multiply the Ministry through other animators. I also plan to found an orphanage. I am already working in the field of scholarships. I helped around fifty young people. Recently one of them offered to fill up my vehicle. He reminded me that I paid for his computer classes and that he owes me now that he is working. He said that I had decided, at the time, to finance two young people. I didn’t even remember it. I learned that in the service of God, we must forget ourselves, like Jesus. Doesn’t Christ assure us that if we believe in His words, we will do greater things than Him?
