Maggie Blanchard was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Raised modestly by parents who instilled in her Christian values, Maggie thirsts for freedom from the age of 14. She then headed towards the world of music to fulfill her expectations.
At 16, Maggie recorded her first 45 in Montreal with Daniel Hétu. In 1984, she interpreter the song “Bit of the night” which became a hit and ranked in the top ten under the Polygram label. Since then, Maggie has participated in many gospel events.
She is one of Montreal's best known and most talented singers.
