The first-ever Spanish version of Life.Church Worship, “Gracia Sobre Gracia” with Miel San Marcos, is available today. The release follows the group’s latest EP, Grace Upon Grace, released last month. The Spanish version of the EP’s title track is accompanied by a a video with lyrics as well as an acoustic version. For this new version of the single, Life.Church had the honor of partnering with the award-winning trio Miel San Marcos, one of the most iconic Latin groups in the contemporary music of praise and worship. By uniting, they hope to achieve community latino with the message of the song that no matter what we have done, God’s love and grace covers us completely.
“When we were looking for a band to partner with, Miel San Marcos was a natural choice because of the incredible music they bring to the community Latino,” says Stephen Cole of Life.Church Worship. “We’ve wanted to produce songs in Spanish for the global church for years now, and we’re excited to see this dream come to fruition. We will definitely have more to come in the future.
The Grace Upon Grace EP features “Finished Work of Christ,” which was co-written by members of the Life.Church Worship team with Matt Redman, and “Inheritance,” which features Matt Maher who helped to co-write the song. Click on HERE to listen to the full project.
“This album is a collection of upbeat and thoughtful worship songs from the heart of our church,” shares Cole. “Each song was written as a prayer for people to sing to God. These are songs of grace, songs of joy, and songs that celebrate our freedom in Christ. We are excited to share this project with our own church and the global Church.
