Platform Artists, a full-service talent agency, launches today and will represent Christian artists across all live events. Platform Artists consists of veteran agents Bryan Myers, Tony Johnsen and Sam Schaumberg, who have nearly six decades of combined experience in the Christian music industry.
Bryan Myers was previously head of the Contemporary Christian Music department at Creative Artists Agency (CAA), where he worked for 22 years. Tony Johnsen spent the last 16 years at CAA, following 11 years as an agent at GOA. Sam Schaumberg has worked in multiple facets of the Christian music industry for 10 years, including the last six years at CAA.
“We are grateful for all the support we have felt from the industry, from the artists and managers who have signed with us, to the promoters and labels,” shares Tony Johnsen. “We are excited about this new adventure.”
Bryan Myers added: “In a year of unpredictability and tremendous challenges, we are overwhelmed by the support we have received from the Christian music industry. I am truly excited about this new chapter in our career. CAA has been a great home for many years. We look forward to making Platform Artists a home for many more in the future.”
