MNRK Music Group celebrates its nomination categories for the 64th GRAMMY Awards, taking place on January 31, 2022.
The artist MNRK Jonathan McReynoldswith Mali Music, received a nomination for Best Gospel Album for Jonny x Mali: Live in LA. A co-artist release between chart-toppers, the live project follows on the heels of their GRAMMY-winning No. 1 hit song, “Movin’ On.” Featured on a new version of the EP, the prolific songwriters and musicians have taken their artistic collaboration further, co-writing every song on the album.
MNRK Publishing client Jesse Royal has received a nomination for Best Reggae Album for “Royal.” The release is Royal’s second album and was released via Easy Star Records. The singer/songwriter has been a key player in the island’s current reggae movement and collaborated with like-minded colleagues on “Royal,” including incarcerated dancehall legend Vybz Kartel, GRAMMY-nominated reggae star Protoje, Ghanaian lyricist Stonebwoy, former Raging lead singer Fyah Kumar, and more.
Additionally, MNRK’s management client Lights is featured on Ilenium’s “Fallen Embers,” nominated for Best Dance/Electronic Album.
