The film became one of the highest-grossing faith-based films with a budget of $1.5 million and grossed over $65 million at the box office.
The inspiring drama centers on a compelling struggle for freedom that begins in the heartland and continues in the halls of our nation’s capital, Washington, D.C. It prompts audiences to ask the compelling question: If your individual freedoms were threatened. What would you do? The plot parallels current headlines regarding the challenge to free speech and religious freedoms as a fundamental right to raise children.

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: The God’s Not Dead franchise continues in God’s Not Dead: We the People as Reverend Dave (White) is called to advocate for a group of Christian homeschooling families. He finds himself bewildered by government interference and believing that their right to educate their own children is a freedom worth fighting for. Reverend Dave is called to Washington DC to testify at a historic Congressional hearing that will determine the future of religious freedom in our country for years to come.
