Today (February 4), The Porter’s Gate, an ecumenical sacred arts collective, releases new music with a single titled “The Promise,” which can be heard below. The track features Molly Parden and Jonathan Ogden. “The Promise” is available now to download or stream.
The Porter’s Gate was founded in 2017 by Isaac and Megan Wardell with the mission of being a “gatekeeper” for the Christian church—a person who looks beyond the church doors to welcome guests. It began as a group of over 50 songwriters, musicians, scholars, pastors, and music industry professionals from diverse worship traditions and cultural backgrounds gathered for a meaningful conversation about worship and vocation.
