Kierre Bjorn, international worship leader, artist and songwriter, releases his new single “Little Seed” today with Naomi Raine (Maverick City Music), winner of a Grammy Award. Using lyrics such as “From the beginning you sowed and planted. You saw the forest and the tree, the wood that would hold a king,” the track is imbued with intention and invites the listener to pause, breathe, and reflect.
Speaking on the new single, Kierre says: “God planted a seed with the accomplished intention of saving us from sin and death. All the evils of this world, from COVID-19 to war – from racism to cancer… God has seen EVERYTHING. So a decision was made. Yeshua’s blood would flow on a tree, spreading through the bloodlines of all people groups, giving invitation into the family of God and victory. The sting of death is a mirage and every grave that contains the earthly bodies of her children is a door, not a final resting place. There is a hope that cannot be shaken or changed. The price has been paid. Thank you Jesus for the cross.
With a diverse background in the arts, Kierre has participated in numerous stage shows and performed off-Broadway as well as at the Kennedy Center. He has served as a youth/teen board member for the National Black Theater Festival and has presented numerous stage shows with that same company since he was 12 years old. Kierre studied music business with a concentration in classical voice at Winston Salem State University. He gratefully serves on the Worship Executive Board of the Full Gospel Baptist Church International Fellowship and has been with the organization since 2007.
At age 12, he learned what it meant to be a worship leader and he never looked back. It was there, in his childhood, that his love for diversity and multicultural/multiethnic worship was born. Today, he stands firm on biblical justice and remains committed to actively participating in church reconciliation. With the release of “Little Seed” and more to come, Kierre continues to cement herself as one to watch for the remainder of 2022 and beyond. Stay tuned for more music on its way.
