A packed Bridgestone Arena crowd rose to its feet as Nichole sang “In Jesus Name (God of Possible)” during Chris Tomlin’s “Good Friday Nashville.” After her song, Max Lucado prayed for healing, followed by Tomlin who called her back to center stage, telling the tens of thousands in attendance and online: “Ladies and gentlemen, I am so grateful that the amazing Katy Nichole is joining us tonight! Nichole, 21, created “In Jesus Name (God of Possible)” from words from her prayer journal that were written in the midst of a global health crisis and in response to her own story of suffering, hope and healing. She suffered for years from scoliosis before a new doctor removed the metal rods that had been placed in her back and her spine miraculously straightened, no longer hurting. Now, more than 150 million people from a wide variety of backgrounds around the world have heard the refrain “In Jesus Name (God of Possible).” Nearly eight million people saw a video of Katy listening to her song on the radio for the first time (Tic Tac / Facebook) while more than two million watched his first concept Musical clip on Youtube. Thousands more are sharing the song with their own heartwarming, sometimes heartbreaking, stories on Tic Tac as the viral trail continues to circle the globe.
