When trials come, remember that they are sent for your good. […] When trials and tribulations come to you, they are sent so that you may receive the God of glory renewed strength and greater humility, so that you may be blessed, sustained, protected. In faith and with the hope that "don’t confuse"let us cling to the promises of God.
Oh! how good the Lord is to all and how securely we trust in him. He calls us his little children. So go to him like a tender Father. The luminous rays of his justice must shine on our faces, in our words and in our actions. If we love others as Christ loved us, the barriers that separate us from God and our fellow human beings will disappear and all obstacles that prevent the Holy Spirit from pouring out from heart to heart will be removed. The Lord wants his people to be happy; he brings forth before us, one after the other, the sources of consolation, so that we may be filled with joy and peace in present difficulties. Let’s not wait to be in heaven to experience joy and consolation! Let us enjoy these gifts here below. […] We are deprived of great privileges because we do not seize the blessings that flow from our misfortunes. All our sufferings and all our sadness, all our temptations and all our trials, all our persecutions and all our miseries, in a word, all things work together for our good. Let us see the light shining behind the clouds.
Our happiness does not come from those around us but from our inner being; it does not arise from what we have, but from what we are.
