The rise of Joël Emilcar: from collaborator to senior pastor
Joël Emilcar has been a collaborator of Pastor Bataille for 36 years, being a health professional, married for over 20 years, and father of a son named Daniel who is currently studying abroad. For more than 15 years, Pastor Joël Emilcar served as assistant pastor alongside the late Pastor Gérald Bataille. Over the years he has gained the respect of the community and was eventually named senior pastor of the mission, without the need for an election for this unanimous decision, although he was not the president of the mission.
Officially invested, Reverend Pastor Joël Emilcar took the reins of the Tabernacle of Glory of the Mission of God Church of the First Christians in Haiti, succeeding the late Reverend Pastor Gérald Bataille. The investiture ceremony took place on Sunday February 25 at 7 a.m. in the church premises at Delmas 33, extended-Village Eden. Before his death, Pastor Bataille made sure to separate his ministry from family affairs, thus guaranteeing the serenity of the mission according to our sources. We send our wishes of wisdom and anointing to Reverend Pastor Joël Emilcar for his new responsibilities.
