Jean Daniel Valentin officially joined his family in the United States on June 8, 2025, thus marking a major turning point in his personal and professional life.
A couple experienced by distance and insecurity
After their marriage on July 20, 2019, persistent insecurity in Haiti made the reunion of the couple difficult. For the sake of security, Jean Daniel Valentin and his wife made the decision that she would no longer return to Haiti. This situation forced the couple to live separate for almost five years, leading their marital life at a distance.
Anticipation and transmission within Holy Music
Preparing for his departure for several months, the Maestro Valentin had already made his team aware of a possible trip. He claims to have trained more than four replacements since after the sale of the album “Kris Avem” in 2023, thus ensuring the continuity of the Holy Music group.
Since his departure from Haiti for the Dominican Republic, pending authorization to enter the United States, Valentin has continued to support the group as a coach, particularly since April. He confirms that Holy Music Haiti acquired his independence and that he played a mentor role during this pivotal period.
A unique and authentic group
Despite the requests of certain members installed in the United States to create an American branch, Jean Daniel Valentin remains firm: there will be no division of the group. Holy Music will remain a unique and authentic set, based in Haiti. However, he does not explain to follow the will of God if new projects were to emerge.

The group’s second album is almost ready. Since the release of the first opus, the team has faced an embarrassment of choice regarding the format of the next release: full album, EP or single. No official date has yet been announced, the team favoring a thoughtful launch strategy.
Transition and leadership
Valentin had anticipated his departure by putting in internship near four other maestros to ensure the next generation at different levels. However, he remains the wearer of the vision of Holy Music Haiti. During his absence, the role of Maestro will be temporarily entrusted to a member of the group, selected according to criteria defined by the administration and the management committee. The official announcement of this delegation will be made soon, and the vice-mastro will be empowered to make technical decisions in collaboration with the management team.
New opportunities and family priorities
Barely arrived in West Palm Beach, Jean Daniel Valentin has already received more than a dozen invitations from churches wishing to welcome him in their ministry. True to his motto “The anointing makes the difference”, he prefers to wait for divine direction before committing, his current priority being to find the time lost with his family.
