Scottish singer-songwriter Jamie Kimmett has been hospitalised following a serious car accident over the weekend. According to a report on Kimmett’s Official Facebook PageJamie’s car was hit by an 18-wheeler truck on Friday, August 20 while he was driving home from a concert in Arkansas.
“He was airlifted and rushed to the emergency room of a nearby hospital,” according to the Kimmett team. “He is currently in stable condition and doctors are describing his survival as ‘remarkable’ and ‘1000-1.’ We praise God for this miracle and ask for your prayers for him as he recovers at home.”
A GoFundMe Page was set up to help cover the medical expenses Kimmett will face since he does not have medical insurance in the UNITED STATES. As of Tuesday afternoon, more than $26,000 had been raised of the $50,000 goal. “Please be assured that everything raised will go toward Jamie’s recovery and (God willing) getting him back to making music and ministering,” the message said.
