Husband and wife duo Alabaster Grace’s latest single, “Heal Our Land,” has resonated with listeners across the country since their recent performance of the song at the 56th Annual Commonwealth of Virginia Prayer Breakfast in front an audience that included Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin.

Brad Perry, a highly decorated former NASA rocket scientist, and his wife, Joanie Perry, a dedicated educator – known professionally as Alabaster Grace – have engaged their creativity, intelligence and passion to create thoughtful music , insightful and respectful.

“Heal Our Land” checks each of these boxes and then some. The song, which was released to Christian radio stations across the country by Westar Media Group, was written by Joanie Perry, thesongwriter lead by Alabaster Grace, with a guitar arrangement by the band’s guitarist, Brad Perry. “Heal Our Land” was produced by multiple Dove Award-winning producer Chris Bevins (producer and keyboards for Selah, Salvador, Jaci Velasquez, Christine D’Clario).

“’Heal Our Land’ is based on 2 Chronicles 7:14,” explains Joanie Perry. “This song is our prayer for our country, asking God to forgive our sins as we repent and return to Him. As in the days when Israel fell away from God, the words of Hosea the prophet ring in our ears: “Come, let us return to the Lord; for he has torn, but he will heal us; He has struck, but he will bandage us. (Hosea 6:1, NKJV). It is time for our country to return to God so that He can heal our land!
