A long-term vision for Haiti: the 2050 project
Grégory Toussaint’s vision for Haiti is based on a development plan on 25 years oldcalled Haiti 2050. This plan will be launched in December 2025 and aims to bring together a million Haitians for a time of prayer and worship. This initiative is inspired by similar projects such as Rwanda Vision 2020which was marked by long-term goals for the progress of the country.
The bishop insists on the importance of this approach to move away from a dynamic of constant reaction to crises, by directing the country towards a sustainable prospective. With this ambitious project, Grégory Toussaint hopes to mobilize not only believers, but also all those who wish to see Haiti embark on a path of prosperity and peace.
This plan is designed to be regularly assessed every five yearsin order to adjust strategies based on progress made. The objective is to inspire a proactive approach and lasting positive change for Haiti.
