Roobens d’or was born in Saint-Marc, Haiti, Roobens D’or is a singer who from a young age adopted music as his greatest passion; the music evangelical contemporary music particularly played a major role in his life.
Roobens D’or is also a professional and researcher in mathematics with a master’s degree that he obtained in 2013 at Mercy College University in New York, UNITED STATES. He is currently a doctoral student in Educational Leadership at North Eastern University in Massachusetts. However, despite his intellectual abilities, this young professional has always known how to use his talent to honor God through the Ministry of Music.
The talented singer represented by this young artist was able to leave his mark on the evangelical in Haiti, through her great and fruitful participation in various projects of several choirs and groups such as: Alegria Gospel, the Constellation group, Salvation Choir, Gospel Vision (GV), Redemption Gospel (RG), and the YES group.
Roobens released his first solo project: “I Believe,” in 2010. A work that reflected his long journey with God and how the Most High has shaped his personality and will continue to guide him in his life. Influenced by the voices of singers like Rigaud Duverne, Pastor Ron Kenolly, Hill Song Music, Donnie Mcklukin, Big Daddy Weave and Kirk FranklinRoobens had always dreamed of starting a career as a solo artist from a young age.
The good news is that the singer of the former hit evangelical titled “Senyè M Ba Ou Kè Mwin”, is currently in the studio for his second major project, an “EP”. This new disc will contain nearly eight (6) pieces of music, on which Roobens also invited other singer friends (Evens Gregoire and Roosvelt Jn Noel). Through this project, the public will certainly have the opportunity to discover a Roobens D’or grown in his voice with a spiritual maturity in permanent construction.
