The Fr Luckson Zòn Pa Fè Moun Foundation Receives A Donation Of One Million Gourdes

Donation of one million gourdes: impact and controversy

On August 3, 2024, during a celebration at the El Rancho Hotel in Pétionville, in honor of Monnelys Production, one million gourdes were donated to the Foundation Fr Luckson is not a man.

The event, which brought together people from all walks of life in Haiti, served as an opportunity to honor the foundation’s tireless work. Despite constant challenges, the foundation is committed to removing children from the streets and protecting them from various negative influences. Accompanied by some of the foundation’s children, Pastor Luckson received this generous donation of 1,000,000 gourdes. Another similar donation was given to the non-profit Haiti Christian Orphanage.

Monnelys Production, although not a separate entity targeted recognized organizations in the sector Haitian for their donation. This choice of beneficiaries deserves to be highlighted, because it shows a commitment to contribute to social well-being, even outside of traditional expectations.

Historically, this is not the first time that a sum of one million gourdes has been publicly given in Haiti. Pastor Julio Volcy had given a controversial example in March 2023 by awarding a check for this value to the non-Christian artist Black Boy for his social song released in 2016, instead of financing evangelical artists who, for the most part, lead a difficult life.

You shall love your neighbor as yourself…

On the Fr Luckson zon pa fè moun Foundation profile, several photographs show Pastor Luckson alongside various personalities, including one in particular who is openly hostile to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. To justify the image, Pastor Luckson said: In my BibleI don’t see anywhere where Jesus sends anyone to fight against anyone else. On the contrary, in Mark 12:31 it says, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.’

Let us recall that in this same Bible there is Psalm 1, verse 1, which says: Happy is the man who does not walk according to the counsel of the wicked, who does not stand in the way of sinners, and who does not sit in the company of mockers.
