“Glwa Bondye se pasyon’m ” , five departments already touched by the Psalmist James S. Alcindor
Despite a difficult economic situation, the tour of psalmist James Smith Alcindor continues to make headway. The project came to life at the very beginning of 2019, following the release of his latest album “Nan Glwa ou” last December. The idea is not to continue with a signing sale of the album in different regions of the country but to spread the glory of God through conferences and concerts evangelicals in the ten departments. Its latest outing to date, on Sunday August 18, 2019, targeted the town of Port-de-Paix in the North-West department. The fifth department affected by this vast and demanding campaign.
The morning of August 18 was particularly busy for the SAJ Production delegation. No less than 5 churches were visited by reinforced staff, for the occasion, with the presence of Romy Laguerre, Stanley Georges and Mareste Luc Ernest. At the end of the evening, it was at Sunlight Church, a large auditorium, that the beautiful team gathered with the public for a great moment of adoration and praise. The audience was treated to three good hours of performances and edifying words.
Despite a downpour at the start of the afternoon, most of the seats were occupied from the evening’s kick-off. First a moment of consecration with choirs taken up by the assembly followed by the performance of a native of the city of Valparaiso, Mareste Luc Ernest and his band who performed several pieces. James S. Alcindor climbs the stage to explain to the audience the context of the evening before starting to draw hits from his rich repertoire.
Stanley Georges continued with a sublime performance of his song “Glwa ou”, he took the opportunity to share a vibrant testimony with the audience. He supported his speech with his song titled “temwanyaj”. Romy Laguerre, also a prodigal son, shared with the public the trigger for his new birth before performing his latest single “Mw kite vi pa’m”. Bethoven Chenet, who was not on the bill, masterfully performed “No Longer Slaves” during the prayers of restoration, conversion and intercession before Pastor Alcindor returned on stage to a final performance of his song “Ou Bon Pou Mwen”.
After the departments of the West, the North, Nippes and Artibonite, it was now the turn of the North-West to welcome the caravan “Glwa Bondye se pasyon m » by psalmist James Smith Alcindor who continues to expand his vision. The twists and turns and the testimonies are very favorable and the SAJ production team does not intend to stop there.
