Independence festival 2025 – Dena Mwana invited by the Malagasy presidency

An essential figure of the African Gospel scene, Dena Mwana has established itself as one of the most influential voices of French -speaking gospel. Originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, she has more than 300 concerts to her credit, three studio albums, an EP and more than 180 million views on her YouTube channel. His latest project, entitled “Gathering the worshipers”, confirms his ability to reach a large audience, while remaining faithful to his spiritual and artistic commitment.

On June 22, 2025, Dena Mwana was invited by the Presidency of the Republic of Madagascar to participate in the official festivities of the 65th anniversary of the country's independence. The event was held at the Kianja Barea Mahamasina stadium, bringing together thousands of Malagasy as well as many political and religious personalities. The artist expressed his deep gratitude to President Andry Rajoelina, welcoming the importance given to the spiritual dimension during this national celebration.

Dena Mwana underlined the warm welcome from the Malagasy people and the fraternity that marked her stay. She also thanked the presidency for the honor made to her, insisting on the central place of faith and unity in this historic event.
