The event “God wants you to succeed” is a special evening organized for the youth of Guadeloupe on Sunday August 31, 2025 at 5 p.m., at the Potter’s Vase church in the Abymes. On the occasion of the start of the school year, this meeting offers a free time of praise, prayer and motivation intended for students, teachers and the whole educational community.
An idea carried by prayer and faith.
The origin of this event dates back to an intense prayer period, during which Frantz Junior Moïse, initiator of the project, felt the call to organize a meeting to support and protect youth in the face of the challenges of school harassment and alarming statistics on the suicide of young people, particularly in France and in Europe. Seized by these realities and guided by the theme “God wants you to succeed”, he wishes to transmit to the participants a message of hope and success, whatever their faith or their situation.
Committed partners
To materialize this project, Frantz Junior Moïse surrounded himself with major figures of the local evangelical community: Samantha Jean, recognized Adventist artist in Guadeloupe, and the Roman pastoral couple Rony and Prissy Romain, youth officials of the Potter’s vase church, as well as Kevin Saint-Jean, musical director of the event. Their commitment results in a fully voluntary mobilization and an organization focused on free, so that access is open to everyone on simple registration.
An evening for youth and success
The objective of this celebration is to bring together up to 250 people within the church, in order to open the school year under the seal of prayer, worship and encouragement. During the event, highlights of worship, prayer and sharing will alternate around the main theme. The organizers hope to permanently mark the minds of young people, strengthen their faith, their courage and remember that God has a unique plan for everyone.
A meeting expected by the community
This unprecedented project in Guadeloupe and even in Europe, according to its initiators, already benefits from strong support in the local community. Many influencers and members of the various religious circles share the enthusiasm generated by this initiative, which aims to bring a new dynamic for the start of the school year. The event aims to be inclusive, carrying a common vision: offering a spiritual space for protection, intelligence and success to each young person engaged in their school career.
