Landing in the Apple Religion & Spirituality Podcast Top 15 after its debut last month, Bridges with Patsy Clairmont and Andrew Greer: Spiritual Connections Through Generational Conversations invites listeners of all ages to find common ground for fierce faith in a challenging season.
Presented by Food for the Hungry and HarperCollins/Thomas Nelson for the Bible Abide, Bridges is co-hosted and co-produced by bestselling author and speaker Patsy Clairmont and Dove Award-nominated singer/songwriter and author Andrew Greer. Rooted in the hosts’ own generational friendship, the show—available via Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Pandora—highlights “bridges” of conversation with some of today’s leading voices of faith.
“We all wish we could leap over the pain, hardship and heartbreak into Hope’s arms, but the chasm is deep and dangerous,” Clairmont says. “Instead, we build a bridge! With Andrew Greer, my beloved cohort, and our incredible guests, we converse our way to Hope week after week.”
Author, speaker, and social media influencer Carlos Whittaker is Clairmont and Greer’s first guest, discussing the risky but rewarding boundaries of “wild” faith, as well as practical ways to overcome anxiety. A subsequent episode features bestselling author and speaker Rebekah Lyons, sharing her insights on creating lives marked by peace.
“Ever since I was a kid growing up in rural Texas, I’ve always been drawn to people of all ages, all sorts of backgrounds and life stories,” Greer says. “Even though we’re from different generations and on opposite sides of the country –– they were friends at first sight. Every episode, every topic, every guest on Bridges has been a living education for me. It’s truly an ‘all ages’ podcast.”
With a new episode available every Tuesday, Bridges’ upcoming guests include Cy Young Award-winning MLB pitcher Barry Zito; recording artist and YouTube star Cimorelli; comedian Anita Renfroe; GRAMMY-nominated trio Point of Grace; acclaimed singer/songwriter Jason Gray; and beloved Gaither Homecoming singer Lynda Randle, among others.
