Delly Benson was born in Cap Haitien on October 3, 1986.
He spent a good part of his life in Gonaives where he did his classical studies. From an early age, Benson began singing in church, but it wasn't until 2001, when he joined the "Youth Club for Jesus » that he understood the call of Jesus in his life.
2007 – Digicel Stars
In 2007, Benson won the vice-champion title at the 1th edition of the "Digicel Stars" song contest. Returning the same year to Port-au-Prince for university studies, he enrolled respectively at the Center for Diplomatic and International Studies (CEDI) to study Marketing and at the Ministry of Fisheries International Men (MPHI) for studies. in theology.
At the MPHI, he meets the one who will become his wife, and they marry at the end of studies in theology. From this union two girls were born to them, Shamma and Sophia.
2009 – creation of Holysongs
In April 2009, Benson founded a ministry called "Holysongs", which is made up of musicians, singers and prayer leaders. Accompanied by his team, he released in May 2011 his first titled album "You are Lord / Ou se Senyè" which includes 15 tracks: 1. Hallelujah 2. 3 lanmou folds. True God 4. You are Lord 5. This album, including all pieces of divine inspiration, is a constant source of spiritual blessings. From many points of the world such as France, the United States, Canada, Martinique, Bahamas, Santo Domingo, Holland, Chile, Guadeloupe, Grand Turk, Provinciale etc, thousands of people testify to have been built through these melodies.
Benson and his group regularly participate in worship and praise concerts all over the country: Cap Haitien, Gonaïves, Montrouis, Arcahaie, Cabaret, Port-de-paix, Leogane, Miragoane, Pétion-Ville, Delmas, Carrefour , Fond Parisien, Fond des Negroes. They also performed in the United States of America, at the invitation of various churches in Florida.
DELLY Benson is today with her Holysongs ministry, a channel through which God builds His Church through the songs He inspires in her. Benson acknowledges that any notoriety, success or honor he has and can earn as a composer, musician and performer, he owes to the Trinity – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – who gave him the grace to grant him gifts, talents, favors and blessings.
It is therefore with all his heart that DELLY Benson sings and will continue at all times to sing, to praise, to exalt the holy and powerful name of the Eternal. Let every knee bow to His majesty! Hallelujah! All glory and all honor be given to the Lord alone. Amen and Amen!
