Death of Pastor Lafleur Petit, coordinator and founding member of LIPACS
On Thursday October 26, the community of Cité Soleil lost one of its most respected members, Pastor Lafleur Petit. THE
founder and coordinator of the League of Pastors of Cité Soleil (LIPACS) died at OFATMA hospital after being hospitalized for 11 days following stroke symptoms of what appears to be a cerebrovascular accident (CVA).
Pastor Lafleur was not only a dedicated spiritual leader but also a pillar of the community of the Cité Soleil. His dedication to his church, the Alliance Primitive de Soleil 4 Church, and his work within LIPACS have left an indelible mark on the social fabric of this region.
The news of his death came as a shock to many people, especially his PETIT family, who are mourning the loss of this loving man. We wish the Petit family and all those affected by this bereavement all the courage and support necessary during this difficult time.
