The Quartet Collective is officially here! This newly formed Gospel supergroup, announced in February 2026, unites four generations of powerhouse vocalists: Zacardi Cortez, Darnell Williams, Edwrin Sutton, and Keon Harrison.
Designed to honor the rich legacy of the quartet tradition while pushing its sonic boundaries for a global audience, The Quartet Collective brings together Grammy-nominated and Stellar Award-winning talent in a first-of-its-kind collaboration. This project is not just a group but a fusion of distinctive voices that have already made their mark across church culture, radio charts, and viral social media moments.
The group is currently preparing their debut album, produced by member Darnell Williams, with a release scheduled under the Black Smoke Music Worldwide label. Kerry Douglas, owner of the label, describes the project as “history in harmony,” noting that while quartets have always been the engine of Gospel music, this specific supergroup configuration—four commanding solo voices with one unified sound—is unprecedented.
Their first single is slated for release in May 2026, followed by the full album later in the year. Fans can anticipate a blend of traditional quartet harmonies, hand-clapping rhythms, and testimony-rich lyrics, all delivered with a contemporary polish that bridges Sunday service and modern airwaves.

His recent single, “Work It Out For Me,” topped the Billboard Gospel Airplay Chart, solidifying his status as one of the genre’s most notable voices.
Darnell Williams
Frontman of The Williams Singers and a 4-time Stellar Award nominee, Williams is credited with helping revolutionize the quartet sound by blending it with R&B and hip-hop influences. He serves as the group’s producer, bringing his intuitive arranger’s instincts to the project.
Edwrin Sutton
Bursting onto the scene in 2021 with his debut single “I Hear Rain” (#32 on Gospel BDS Radio), Sutton is known for his scripture-rich storytelling and expressive tenor voice. His debut album The Revival reached #5 on the Billboard Top Gospel Album Sales chart.
