A concert of faith and hope: Back on the evening Gospel Saphir Minister of April 13, 2025
An evening of praise in the rain: faith triumphs over bad weather
On Sunday April 13, 2025, despite a capricious weather, the faith was palpable in the church of the evangelical community of Haiti. The concert organized by the Gospel Saphir Ministry choir (GSM) transformed rain into a blessing, songs into prayers, and hope into concrete actions. More than a simple musical event, this evening was a prophetic act, a praise offering for a country in search of peace and recovery.
A spiritual opening and significant performance
In light but persistent rain, the evening started with a spiritual context, followed by a time of worship led by Brother James Petit. From the first notes, the public plunged into an atmosphere of meditation, preparing hearts to receive much more than music.
The scene then animated with Darla, who interpreted “or Gran”, affirming the sovereignty of God despite the ambient chaos. Lindinah continued with “everything is possible”, a song reflecting the Haitian reality marked by banditry and insecurity, but also by an unshakable faith. A highlight was the moving duo with Wiliadel, followed by an inspiring message around “Pran Nat or Ale”, an exhortation to grow after deliverance. The title “Sezon pa M”, a true declaration of faith, closed this first part with a remarkable spiritual force. The choreographies inspired by the prodigy dance group have magnified each performance, giving the concert a unique visual and expressive dimension.
Presentation of the album and friendly atmosphere
Between the musical moments, the long -awaited album of GSM was presented. Diversified, rich and carefully developed, it is available in USB key format at the symbolic price of 1000 gourdes. Each purchase supports the “Ann Voye Timoun Lekòl” project. Despite the rain, the atmosphere remained warm: the public took advantage of popcorn, chips, candies and fresco, sharing moments of conviviality with family or friends.
Elected officials: a powerful and unifying celebration
The group Les Élus then entered with “Selebre wine”, causing the assembly in an atmosphere of festive and celebration. This powerful song recalls that, despite the darkness, praising God remains an act of spiritual war. Their passage has instilled energy, joy and encouragement to the church.
Moments of emotion and a strong social commitment
After this festive sequence, GSM returned with “Fòs Louwanj”, saying that praise has a weight in the spiritual world. “Lanmou San Mezi”, interpreted with artist Stanley Georges, recalled the unconditional love of God. An overwhelming moment followed with “or Fel”, interpreted by GSM, Edwine fils and Betchine. This song, carrying a message of hope for a country in crisis, moved the assembly to tears.
Ms. Thébaud, accompanied by the children of her orphanage, beneficiaries of the “Ann Voye Timoun Lekòl” project, then went on stage. Blind but endowed with a remarkable interior force, she testified to the impact of GSM’s support: supplies, provisions, visits, games, training. His testimony, tinged with humor and humility, deeply touched the audience.
A powerful final and a prayer for Haiti
Each album purchased, each song listened to, contributes to the social mission of GSM. The choir returned to interpret “W’ap Renye”, the flagship title of the album, then was joined by the elected officials for “Bondye A di w mèsi”, a song of collective gratitude for the success of the concert, the divine protection and the spiritual and social impact of the event.
Sébastien Dossous, president of GSM and master of ceremonies, closed the evening by thanking the public, the sponsors, the artists, the partners and the host church. A last moment of praise, accompanied by dynamic choreographies, gathered the public in an explosion of joy and faith. Finally, a prayer was raised to put Haiti back in the hands of God, asking for his continuous blessing on the country.
This concert by Gospel Saphir Ministry will remain engraved in memories as an act of faith, a cry of hope, a testimony of love and a powerful reminder that God still reigns over Haiti.
