Despite the challenges, DEG will “JISKOBOU” for his 12 years of ministry
Despite the challenges, the ups and downs, the DEG Haiti Choir remains standing and determined to see its mission through to the end. A vision that takes on its full meaning today with JISKOBOU, an anniversary album which translates this perseverance and this unwavering faith into music.
To mark its 12th anniversary, the evangelical group intends to make an impact with a major celebration combining a concert and a signature sale. The event is scheduled for this Sunday, March 29 at the Municipal Palace of Delmas 33, from 3 p.m., and is already shaping up to be a highlight for gospel music lovers.
During a press conference held this Thursday, March 26, several members of the choir shared the main directions of this activity. Maestro David Morinvil, accompanied by singer Gabriella St Hilaire, presented the essence and vision of the JISKOBOU album. Composed of 12 pieces, this project is a nod to the group’s 12 years of journey, while carrying a message of endurance and loyalty. The album is also distinguished by a diverse musical style, exploring different sounds without ever losing the specific identity of the DEG choir, and is enriched by collaborations with recognized figures from the evangelical world.
For their part, Widler and Lophane provided details on the organization of the event, in particular its progress as well as the security measures planned to ensure the proper supervision of the public.
Keen to adapt to new realities, the DEG choir is also relying on digital technology for the distribution of its work. The JISKOBOU album will be available via a QR code, or on a USB key during the event.
Between recognition, praise and communion, this celebration of DEG’s 12th anniversary promises to be a moment rich in emotions. An event not to be missed for all those who want to live an intense spiritual experience and accompany the choir on this walk… until the end.
