Charles Jenkins – He’ll do it right
Charles Jenkins & Fellowship Chicago’s “He’ll Make It Alright” climbs 2-1 on Billboard’s Gospel Airplay Chart (dated Feb. 27).
The song, which Jenkins wrote solo, becomes the act’s fourth No. 1, among eight top 10s.
The group last led Gospel Airplay with “Grace,” featuring Le’Andria, for four weeks starting in December 2017. Their first entry, “Awesome,” became their first No. 1, for 16 frames starting in June 2012. “#War” then led for five weeks starting in August 2015.
“No. 1 means your message in music is being spread far and wide and that’s joy,” Jenkins told Billboard. “At such a complex time in history, I’m excited to write an uplifting song to remind people of God’s ability and faithfulness.”
