CeCe Winans marks her second Gospel Airplay leader.
CeCe Winans reached his second leader on Billboard’s Gospel Airplay chart as “Never lost» climbs from No. 3 to No. 1 on the May 8 survey. During the tracking week ending May 2, the song increased 9% in plays, according to MRC Data.
The song is the main track of Winans’ Believe for It: A Live Worship Experiencewhich debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums chart and No. 3 on Top Christian Albums (both dated March 27), becoming her ninth No. 1 on the former and her 13th top 10 on the latter.
Winans previously topped Gospel Airplay with “Pray” for two weeks in January-February 2006. (The chart began in 2005, while its history on Billboard surveys dates back to the 1980s.) She racked up one additional top 10 among her eight appearances on the tally, as “Never Have to Be Alone” climbed to No. 5 in April 2017.
