Provident Entertainment Retains Top Christian Label Title According to Billboard
Sony Music Entertainment label collects 14 distinctions for the year 2025
Provident Entertainment has been named a Top Christian Label by Billboard for the second year in a row, confirming its dominant position in the Christian music industry. The announcement, posted on December 16, 2025 from Nashville, Tennessee, also highlights its Top Christian Albums Label and Hot Christian Songs Label titles.
Why does Provident Entertainment get so much recognition? Success is based on a catalog of successful artists and an effective strategy. Brandon Lake particularly dominates with five individual distinctions, notably thanks to his title “Hard Fought Hallelujah”. Elevation Worship won the Top Christian Duo/Group title, while Seph Schlueter won the Christian AC Airplay Title with “Running Back To You”.
Holly Zabka, president of the label, attributes this success “to the passion and dedication of our artists, songwriters and our entire team”. A division of Sony Music Entertainment, Provident Entertainment includes Reunion Records, Essential Records, RCA Inspiration and several other entities. The roster includes Casting Crowns, KB, Zach Williams, CAIN, Matthew West and other established artists.
