The Billboard Music Awards 2024: The big winners in Christian and gospel music
THE Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs) 2024, presented by Marriott Bonvoy, took place on December 12. This annual ceremony celebrates the artistsalbums, songs, producers and songwriters of the year, according to Billboard chart performance metrics.
Christian and Gospel Category Winners
In the category of Top Christian Artist, Elevation Worship was crowned winnersurpassing artists renowned such as Lauren Daigle and Brandon Lake.
For the Top Gospel Artist, CeCe Winans also won the award, a testament to his influence in the field of gospel music.
Concerning the songs, the collaboration of Elevation Worship with Brandon Lake, Chris Brown and Chandler Moore for “Praise” was nominated Top Christian Song. For his part, CeCe Winans also shone by winning the prize of Top Gospel Song with “That’s My King”.
Finally, in the album categories, Elevation Worship won for his album “CAN YOU IMAGINE? » in the category Top Christian Albumwhile Maverick City MusicChandler Moore and Naomi Raine were awarded for “The Maverick Way Complete: Complete Vol 02” in the category Top Gospel Album.
