Singer/songwriter/survivor Benny DiChiara is scheduled to be interviewed live via Skype on Cornerstone Television Network’s (CTVN) flagship show, Hope Today, on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. EST.
The interview will be rebroadcast the same day at 1:00 PM, 8:00 PM and 1:00 AM EST the following morning. Fans can also stream the interview online at the same times at ctvn.org.
During the interview, DiChiara, the lead singer and songwriter for Baton Rouge, Louisiana-based Christian rock band Empowered, will discuss his faith and healing journey, including his recovery from traumatic brain injury (TBI) and his band’s latest chart-topping EP, Three Days.
“What an honor to be featured on Cornerstone Television,” says DiChiara. “I look forward to the opportunity to share my story and music with the amazing audience at Hope Today.”
DiChiara and her band, Empowered, recently started 2021 right where they left off at the end of 2020 – at the top of the charts.
The group, which landed the No. 1 spot twice in 2020 on IndieGospel.net’s Top 10 Video Chart, earned back-to-back No. 1 music videos on the same chart to kick off 2021. In the second week of January 2021, Empowered’s “Listen to the Children” music video hit No. 1 for the second time. The following week, the music video for the title track from the group’s critically acclaimed album Three Days took the No. 1 spot for the second time, while “Listen to the Children” remained at No. 6.
“This is such an exciting way to start the new year,” says DiChiara. “God has blessed us so richly this past year. We are humbled that our music is still resonating with people, and we look forward to what’s yet to come!”
