The Magic of Christmas from Child Evangelism Fellowship
In a world where younger generations seem to be moving away from religionthe interfaith organization Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) mobilizes to offer the Gospel message to millions of children across the globe during the holiday season. This year, CEF hopes to reach more than 12 million children thanks to its special initiative of Christmas Party Clubs.
A mission imbued with love
Founded in 1937CEF aims to equip Christians to teach children and help them become disciples of Christ. Faced with a society where church attendance is declining among younger people, Fred Pry, Acting Vice President of the Administration, affirms that “the truth of the Bible is still relevant.” CEF invites churches and community leaders to participate in these Christmas Party Clubswhere they can organize enriching activities such as singing, review games and Bible lessons.
Impressive growth
For 2024, CEF also plans to train 348,000 volunteersa significant increase compared to previous years. In 2023, almost 295,000 clubs took place, affecting more than 9 million childrendemonstrating true growth in their mission of evangelization.
An essential component: prayer
In the difficult international context where certain Christian communities face persecution, CEF emphasizes the importance of prayer. “It’s not just the number of meetings we hold, but the time spent in prayer that allows us to move forward,” adds Pry. Thus, the organization launched the 50 days of prayercalling on believers around the world to join this cause in supporting Christmas clubs.
Together, let’s make a difference
This ChristmasCEF needs donor support. Last year, a generous donor provided more than 500,000 dollars to help the organization provide free evangelistic materials. As Pry pointed out, “the value of an eternal life is inestimable.”
We invite everyone to think about how they can share the love of Christ in 2025. Together, let’s make preaching to others a reality.
