2 attitudes of the Christian.
Free me from reproach and contempt! Because I observe your precepts
PSALMS 119:22
By whom are you rejected?
Your spouse, your children, your parents, your in-laws, your friends, your colleagues, your church, can reject you for one or more reasons. They don't come near you anymore, don't talk to you anymore, don't call you anymore,
no longer write to you, no longer visit you…they are distant from you. When you meet them, they apologize, blaming work, fatigue, family, forgetfulness. You try to believe them, but you find that they don't want to see you anymore. They no longer want to have contact with you.
It's dark to be rejected by others. This rejection can disturb you, destabilize you, make you suffer. Therefore, you must turn to God. Don't lock yourself up, don't isolate yourself, don't get sad, don't get angry, don't feel sorry, don't murmur. I recommend two approaches:
1st attitude: Fix your eyes on God
Don't try to do anything on your own without being led by God. Do not try to resolve the situation without God's help. Whether you're wrong or not, talk to God. Open your heart to him. God controls everything. Let him in Master resolve everything. For every difficult situation that arises, God always has the solution. Regularly remind him what is going on between you and the other. Admit your wrong if you did wrong. Ask forgiveness and regret your act.
The Bible says in Psalms 146: 7 “He gives justice to the oppressed; He gives bread to the hungry; The Lord delivers the captives”
If you are rejected because God has blessed you, do not get angry. Do not judge. Bless the person(s) who reject you, and ask God to bless them too. You will not be able to satisfy the needs of others unless God allows it.
In Matthew 7:1, the Bible says, “Judge not, lest you be judged. »
If you are rejected because you have problems, don't get angry. Again, bless the person(s) who reject you. God is Love and is good. He will lift you up. Continue to implore his grace over your life, he will certainly answer you.
If you are rejected because you have sinned. Look to God. Ask your God for forgiveness for your sin and sin no more. God always forgives our sins when we humble ourselves before His face, when we confess them. God will deal with people who judge you and reject you because of your sin.
2nd attitude to have: Show love
When you are rejected, don't reject others too. Do not respond to evil with evil. Show Love for the person(s) who reject you. Always think good thoughts of her(s).
Our Lord Jesus said:
In Matthew 5:44 we read: “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you”
Love people who reject you, who hurt you, who hurt you. Forgive them, support them, pray for them. Always be available to help these people. The Lord said:
Verse 46 tells us, “If you love those who love you, what reward do you deserve? Don't publicans also do the same? »
When you show Love, God is proud of you. He recognizes in you his son, his son, because God is Love. Open your heart to Love. Love the people who love you and the people who hate you. Let all bitterness, all animosity, all anger, all clamor, all slander, and all wickedness, disappear from among you.
Ephesians 4: 31-32
31 Let all bitterness, all animosity, all anger, all clamor, all calumny, and every kind of wickedness, disappear from among you. 32 Be kind to each other, compassionate, forgiving each other, as God has forgiven you in Christ.
