Birth Name: Danna Lauren Talley.
Date and Place of Birth: Born on December 11, 1982, in Greensboro, North Carolina, USA.
Musical Heritage: She was born into one of Southern Gospel's most famous families. She is the daughter of Roger and Debra Talley. She began her career at a very young age, famously "interrupting" her family's concert at age 2 to sing her first solo.
Career Highlights: She spent decades as a member of the award-winning family group The Talleys (formerly The Talley Trio). As a solo artist, she has released several successful albums, including The Gospel (2017), which reached #1 on the Billboard Southern Gospel chart.
Education: She was awarded an honorary doctorate in Worship Arts from John Wesley University in 2014.
Current Residence
Base: She is currently based in Calhoun, Georgia.
Activity: Following the retirement of The Talleys in 2020, Lauren has focused on her solo ministry and new collaborations. As of 2026, she is actively touring as part of a new trio called Lauren, Amber & Kenna (alongside Amber Eppinette Saunders and Kenna Turner West). She remains a frequent guest on the Gaither Homecoming series and continues to serve as a vocal coach and producer for emerging artists.
