For nothing is impossible with God (Luke 1:37)
Luke 1:26-38
26 In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth, 27 to a virgin betrothed to a man of the house of David named Joseph. The virgin’s name was Mary.
What a statement! If only we could believe it, our lives would be so different.
From birth, we are trained to know our limits: Don’t take this, don’t put that in your mouth, don’t touch fire… And the list goes on. Knowing our limits and learning to respect them is actually a sign of maturity. It’s part of life.
But God has no limits! When we enter the realm of the supernatural, we must remove all limitations. We must renew our minds with the truth that God is not like us.
He can do anything. We have an awesome God, whose power is so great that we cannot even understand him. Despite everything, we sometimes wonder if our situation is not too complex for the Lord, because we fail to see how he could get us out of trouble.
The Lord said to Jeremiah: “Yes, I am the Lord, the God of every human being. Is there anything that is too difficult for me?” (Jeremiah 32:27)
The answer is a resounding NO! The only thing that limits God is our unbelief (Deut. 7:17). Today, let us honor God by believing that nothing is too difficult for Him.
