“Arise and Shine 2016” – A Landmark Christian Conference

“I already miss the 40 days of fasting and the 4 days of the ‘Arise and Shine’ conference,” shared a participant on the Tabernacle of Glory’s Facebook page shortly after the event. The ‘Arise and Shine’ conference concluded on Sunday evening, July 31, at the Bank United Center, where attendees eagerly anticipate next summer’s revival featuring 40 days of praise, prayer, powerful sermons, inspirational testimonies, miraculous healings, and the manifest glory of God.

Thousands gathered at the Bank United Center (1245 Dauer Dr, Coral Gables, FL 33146) for the momentous “Arise and Shine” conference, expertly organized by the renowned Pastor Gregory Toussaint and the Tabernacle of Glory. This four-day spiritual retreat marked the culmination of 40 days of fasting that began on June 19 at North Miami Senior High Gymnasium, showcasing the astonishing glory of God throughout the event.

“Save the dates from June 18 to July 30 for our next 40 days of fasting next year,” announced Pastor Gregory Toussaint to the energized attendees at the Bank United Center, which accommodates up to 8,000 people.

The climax of the four-day conference, held from July 28-31 in Coral Gables, Miami, unfolded on Sunday evening amidst fervent praise and testimonies from those profoundly impacted during the 40 days of fasting. These heartfelt testimonies of miraculous healings served to strengthen the faith of many and glorify Jesus Christ. The abundance of testimonies throughout the 40 days highlighted God’s powerful presence and His divine manifestations.

“God performs miracles today not only to aid those in distress but also to demonstrate that He is real and not merely a concept or philosophy,” Pastor Toussaint explained.

Over 2,300 Lives Transformed

A remarkable outcome of the ‘Arise and Shine’ event was the salvation of over 2,300 souls who transitioned from darkness to the illuminating light of the Gospel. “I desire to see hell emptied and heaven filled,” proclaimed the eminent evangelist Reinhard Bonnke during his impactful sermon on Sunday evening.

Uplifting Worship and Praise

The final day of the conference featured the stirring worship led by Haitian psalmist Delly Benson, whose God-given talent and anointing blessed the congregation. Attendees joyfully sang alongside him, resonating with beloved tracks such as “Anyo Bondye” from his debut album, “You are Lord.” This moment encapsulated an extraordinary experience of worship and reverence for God.

Worship and praise were the cornerstones of the 40-day fasting journey, significantly contributing to the outpouring of God’s glory. The worship was led by the Worship Choir of the Tabernacle of Glory, in conjunction with Pastor Gregory Toussaint and the talented Psalmist Samuel Robuste, who inspired participants to experience deeper dimensions of worship.

A Multicultural Celebration

The ‘Arise and Shine’ conference also celebrated diversity. While most activities were conducted in Creole, translations were available in four languages onsite and 77 languages on the Tabernacle of Glory’s website. Notably, Ingrid Rosario captivated the audience with her performance on Saturday, July 30, leading the congregation in worship with popular songs like “Que se llene tu casa” and “Te Bendeciré” (I Will Bless You, Lord).

Inspiring Messages and Spiritual Warfare

During the initial day of the conference, renowned pastor and singer Donnie McClurkin uplifted the audience with a selection of his songs, including “Louwe, louwe” in Creole, a favorite among the Haitian crowd. “That’s all I know,” he humbly admitted while primarily focused on preaching the Word of God with passion, emphasizing the sacrificial love of Jesus.

Spiritual warfare formed a core aspect of the 40 days of fasting, with prayers dedicated to addressing evil altars and the spirit of Jezebel, recited nightly before or after sermons. Pastor Yvan Castanou traveled from France to impart wisdom and strength to the attendees.
